Recent Project_
British Airways Arc at Olympia
The British Airways ARC has officially opened as part of the landmark Olympia redevelopment, becoming London's first purpose-built mid-sized live music venue in over a decade. With a capacity of 3,800, the venue has already received widespread praise for its outstanding acoustics, immersive atmosphere and world-class facilities.
OR Consulting is proud to have played a key role in delivering this exciting project, providing Building Services, Acoustics and Specialist Lighting design. Working as part of the wider project team, we developed integrated engineering solutions that support both exceptional performance and long-term sustainability.
Our design incorporated district heating, on-site microgeneration and intelligent building controls to maximise operational efficiency, alongside a range of specialist systems including theatrical lighting infrastructure, integrated audio and acoustic solutions, hearing enhancement, IT and broadcast infrastructure, and fire detection and voice alarm systems designed to accommodate theatrical smoke effects.
The result is a flexible, technically advanced venue that provides an exceptional experience for artists, audiences and operators alike. We are delighted to have contributed to a project that is set to become one of London's premier destinations for live music and entertainment.

Project on Site_
St Marys CoE School Starting on Site
We're pleased to see works commence on the new St Mary's School project, where OR Consulting is providing mechanical, electrical, public health (MEP) engineering and sustainability services.
This important development will bring the school's separate infant and junior sites together into a single, modern campus, creating a more cohesive learning environment for pupils and staff. The project will also deliver new nursery places and provide much-needed accommodation for post-16 SEND provision, helping to meet growing local demand for specialist educational facilities.
We're proud to be supporting the delivery of a project that will have a lasting positive impact on the school community and look forward to seeing construction progress over the coming months.

OR Consulting 20 Years
This is a milestone year for OR Consulting as we celebrate 20 years in business.
What began as a small consultancy with a clear vision has grown into a multi-disciplinary engineering practice delivering building services, sustainability, acoustics and lighting design on projects across the UK and abroad. Over the past two decades, we've had the privilege of working alongside outstanding architects, contractors, developers, schools, universities and clients to help bring ambitious projects to life.
This milestone would not have been possible without the people who have been part of our journey. A heartfelt thank you to our talented team, both past and present, whose expertise, dedication and passion have shaped OR Consulting into the practice it is today. Expanding Our BREEAM AP Capability
As demand for sustainable, high-performing buildings continues to grow, OR Consulting is strengthening its sustainability offering with the addition of BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) expertise.
This enhanced capability enables us to provide even greater support to clients seeking to deliver low-carbon, resource-efficient and future-ready buildings. Whether targeting BREEAM certification or simply striving for better environmental outcomes, our expanded expertise allows us to offer practical, integrated sustainability advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Sir Michael Snyder Building at Brentwood School has been shortlisted for the Education Estates 2026 Project of the Year (Independent Schools) Award.
RIBA Stage 2 has completed on our confidential £70m public realm project. Exciting to see this project progress and we will share details when we can.
Work is underway on Kings Hall in Herne Bay. We are thrilled to be starting on the £2 million revamp of this handsome heritage building.

Celebrating 11 Years with OR Consulting
This month we are delighted to celebrate Matt Walsh's 11-year anniversary with OR Consulting. Since joining the practice, Matt has played a key role in our continued growth, combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach that has helped deliver successful projects across a wide range of sectors. As the leader of our Cardiff office, Matt has been instrumental in expanding our presence in Wales while championing innovation, sustainable design and the adoption of BIM across the practice.
"Over the last 11 years, I've had the privilege of working on an incredibly diverse range of projects alongside a fantastic group of people. Looking back, it's the people as much as the projects that have made the journey so rewarding.
Everyone cares about delivering the best outcome for our clients, and I honestly don't think I'd find that level of commitment anywhere else.
It's hard to believe how quickly 11 years have gone, and I'm excited to see where we go next"
