Dear colleagues,
Further to the Warm Welcome newsletter sent earlier this month announcing the new January/February in-take, we are writing again to ask if you would be interested in participating in this in-take.
We’re aware that not all universities were able to fill their places, and we recognise the challenges which the tight timeline created for potential scholars and for yourselves. As communicated in the newsletter, we are happy to confirm that there will be one further round of scholarships for a January/February 2023 intake. The scholarships are only available for this academic year and there will not be a further application round for September 2023.
We recognise that this will mainly benefit post-graduate scholars, and it will not be possible for all universities to accommodate this later start date, but we hope that you may be able to take advantage of this to fill your remaining scholarship places, or indeed, increase those should you have suitable candidates.
The other conditions will remain the same – both for eligibility and maximum course length, and the total cap of 300 scholarships. If you would like to participate in this January/February intake, please complete the Expression of Interest form as soon as possible. This will be open until 7th October, but the participating universities will not be publicly listed until you have confirmed your scholarship offer for January/February 2023.
As with the first cohort, there will be a second application form (open from the 15th September until the 30th October) to confirm your support for named scholars who have secured the offer of a place, please complete this nomination form.
