Tuesday Edition
Happy Valentine’s Day, members! 💗 Oh, can you feel it? Love is in the air today. How are you all spending this special day? People often focus on romantic love on Valentine’s Day, but it’s so important to remember that love comes in many different forms. There’s the love between friends, family, and the love we have for ourselves. All of these forms of love are so important and should be celebrated. By celebrating, we don’t mean going out and buying the most expensive gifts, but simply taking the time to show our loved ones how much we appreciate them. It could be as simple as cooking a nice meal, sending a heartfelt card, or giving a big hug. Whatever it is, make sure it comes from the heart. And to help you guys spread the love today, we have a special surprise that you can share with your nearest and dearest to show them how much you care. Click here to check it out!
Ah, what a lovely way to start the day. I’ve been thinking about what Valentine’s Day really means to all of us. My partner said she doesn’t want me to do anything grand this year, as she kind of thinks this day is too commercialised. Do you think so too? Well, I think the true meaning of this day has become lost in all the hype around buying expensive gifts and going out for fancy dinners. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with giving presents on Valentine’s Day and I love doing those things too, but I think it’s so important to remember what this day is really about, and that’s love. I think love isn’t about cuddly bears and roses. People don’t need to empty their wallets to show they care. I think it’s the thought that counts the most. Read me a book of poems, leave me a heartfelt note every morning, and share something that means something to you, that’s what I want to see. I
don’t need a million things, just your time. What about you? What does Valentine’s Day mean for you? Share your thoughts with us in our forum thread here.
Also, we understand that this day can also bring up difficult emotions, especially if you have lost a loved one. So if you’re spending the day alone, we hope you treat yourself with kindness and compassion and do something that makes you happy today. Because you deserve it. 🙂
And with that, let’s move on to the answer to yesterday’s riddle.
I dig out tiny caves and store gold and silver in them. I also build bridges of silver and make crowns of gold. They are the smallest you could imagine. Sooner or later everybody needs my help, yet many people are afraid to let me help them. Who am I?
And the answer is… a dentist! Oh my, we thought this one would stump most of you, but it seems a few of you were able to figure it out. If you got the answer correct, head further down the newsletter for your well-deserved shout-out!
