AP4D Dialogue
AP4D will host a dialogue 'France and Australia: Enhancing regional coordination in the Indo-Pacific' on Monday 13 February, 12:30-1:30pm (Canberra time).
Following on from AP4D consultations with the French Embassy, this interactive online dialogue will bring together development, diplomacy and defence experts to explore opportunities for how Australia can strengthen coordination with France in the Indo-Pacific.
France's Ambassador to Australia His Excellency Mr. Jean-Pierre Thébault will provide opening remarks.

Our Program
AP4D continues to engage with policy debates, making recent submissions to Treasury ahead of the 2023-24 Federal Budget and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to inform the Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040.
Over the coming months, AP4D will be undertaking work on a wide range of topics, including:
- Illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing
- Australia and Timor-Leste: shaping a shared future
- Australia as an infrastructure partner for Southeast Asia and the Pacific
- Maritime safety in the Pacific
- Fiji's new government
