The articles in this Special Issue illustrate how CCs respond to public health needs in the Region and globally through PAHO/WHO’s mandates. The articles present activities and research results that contribute to evidence-based health policies, share lessons learned, provide recommendations, identify best practices, and increase the visibility of CCs’ work in the Region. We wish to thank PAHO/WHO CCs for their support to the Organization in the pursuit and achievement of its mandates and goals, and we look forward to continuing in the future. We would like to thank the panelists and moderators who participated in the webinar and the personnel who supported the coordination of the Special Issue and webinar.
