January 2023 ![]() Parent-Child LuncheonHeld from November 28th through December 9th, parents of Primary and Elementary children were able to enjoy a meal with their parent in their classroom environment. This very special visit gave parents a unique insight to their child's daily routine where they had an opportunity to meet their friends and spend time with their teachers, and most importantly, create some priceless memories that will last a lifetime! ![]() Montessori WorkshopsWant to learn more about Montessori pedagogy? Attend an AMI Orientation course which is recommended not only for school assistant teachers and administrators but also for parents and anyone who wants to learn more about the Montessori philosophy. The Founder of our school, Ms. Shriee Srinivas, who is also currently an AMI Primary (3-6yrs) Auxiliary Trainer, will be offering two Primary orientation courses in collaboration with Montessori Northwest and Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies. All classes will be held online via Zoom and the sessions will be a combination of discussion, small group work, videos and lecture. Looking AheadFebruary 2023Parent Observation DaysHeld from January 23rd through February 3rd, Primary and Elementary parents will have a 30-minute opportunity to observe their child(ren) in their classroom environment to see their routine and interactions with their teachers and peers. Parent Education EveningThe parent education evening which was originally scheduled for February 10th and subsequently moved to January 27th has been postponed. A revised date will be announced in the near future. School ClosuresSchool will be closed on February 17th for Staff Development and on February 20th in recognition of Presidents' Day. |
