Meet Teri Petrzelka

Central Bank Information Security Officer

With nearly 30 years in the industry — nearly 20 of those spent with Central Bank — Teri Petrzelka takes security seriously. A certified bank security manager and certified social engineer, Teri regularly takes part in training courses focused on cyberattack trends, security considerations and best practices for financial institutions. She is a past member of the Texas Bankers Technology Conference Committee, where she served as chairman for a year.

Teri and her Central Bank team have checks and balances in place to detect potential security issues. In the uncommon event that an issue was to arise, they take calculated steps to determine what happened, how it happened and ways to ward off issues down the line.
