Tuesday Edition
Good morning, members! Or should we say, Buenos días? Today, we’re starting with a different way of saying good morning to you all to add a little bit of spice to our morning greeting. We thought this could be a fun way to learn a few new phrases from different languages, don’t you think? Today's language is Spanish!
Anyway, hoy es Martes, which means ‘today is Tuesday’ and we hope that everyone is having a good day so far. We have a lot of interesting things lined up for you all today, so without further ado, let’s get started. First up, we have the answer to yesterday’s riddle.
There is a 3-digit number. The second digit is four times as big as the third digit. While the first digit is 3 less than the second digit. What is the number?
The answer is... 141 or 582! Why? 141 has 4 as the second digit, which is four times bigger than the third digit (1), and the first digit (1) is 3 less than the second digit (4). As for 582, it has 8 as the second digit, which is four times bigger than the third digit (2), and the first digit (5) is 3 less than the second digit (8). We thought this one would be a
bit tricky, but it seems like a lot of you were able to figure it out. If you did, then make sure to scroll down to the bottom of this newsletter for your well-deserved shoutout.
Now then, what's happening in Australia and around the world today?

A resident in a posh hotel breakfast room called over the head waiter one morning and said with a wonderful and cheerful smile.
‘Good Morning. What a wonderful morning. I'd like two boiled eggs, one of them so undercooked it's runny, and the other so overcooked it's hard to eat. Also, grilled bacon that has been left out so it gets a bit on the cold side; burnt toast that crumbles away as soon as you touch it with a knife; butter straight from the deep freeze so that it's impossible to spread; and a pot of very weak coffee, lukewarm.’
Ooooh, this one is hilarious! A big thank you to member @Vinytled for sharing this one. Check out the rest of the joke here.
