Helping us understand you better

This year, as part of our annual Customer Roadshow, we’re putting a spotlight on how we gather and understand Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) information from our customers. This is really important to us — it helps us go beyond just knowing our homes and instead understand the people who live in them. The more we know, the better we can shape our services, improve outcomes, and support teams across the organisation to do their best work.

You'll soon be invited to complete a short survey, sent via text or email. And to help us reach as many people as possible, we’ll also be out in our communities with a series of door‑knocking days —keep an eye out!

Involved and Inspired Event highlights

At the start of the month, we welcomed customers to Cornerstone for a special event focused on involvement opportunities at Stockport Homes. Held during National Volunteer Week 2026, the event showcased how customers can shape decisions, influence change, and help improve services by sharing their lived experiences.

During the event, customers heard from the Chief Executive Carmel Chambers, the Governance Team and a customer of Stockport Homes, Debra. Customers also had the chance to explore our Panel stalls, where they could speak directly with current members to learn more about each group and their experiences. Nine customers signed up to one or more panels.
