Flash Mob
The Elementary children charmed shoppers at the nearby Grocery Outlet and Safeway with a well-received Flash Mob on January 12th. The theme focused on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the children performed two songs - Martin and One Day.
Hot Cocoa Party
The children ended the 2023 school year with a Hot Cocoa Party where they celebrated the holidays with their peers and teachers by listening to songs and stories while enjoying organic hot chocolate with marshmallows, petite savories, and French pastries.

Sea ShellsListening for sounds in sea shells develops the child's auditory discrimination and the keenness of perception.

Locks and LatchesThe Locks and Latches board improves hand-eye coordination, as well as dexterity and concentration. This also helps children develop patience as they determine the right fit of objects.

Primary 1
DecanomialA sensorial and visual representation of the decanomial develops the mathematical mind and prepares the child for a higher level of mathematics.

Tactile BoardsChildren learn to discriminate texture and grasp development of lightness of touch with tactile boards. This also prepares them for writing.

Primary 2
Roman ArchThe Roman Arch block set allows the child to use and learn Roman engineering principles to build an arch that seemingly defies gravity.

SweepingA part of the Practical Life Activities, sweeping helps children learn control and coordination and focus of attention while caring for their environment.

Elementary
GeographyChildren build their geography knowledge by drawing maps and identifying countries and capitals.

Picture Day
Picture day will be held on Wednesday, February 28th. If your child is absent, there will be a picture retake day on Thursday, March 7th.
Parent Education Evening
The parent education evening will be held on Friday, February 9th.
School Closures
School will be closed on Friday, February 16th for staff development and Monday, February 19th in recognition of Presidents' Day.
