Monday Edition
Why, hello there, members! Fancy seeing you all here on a Monday morning. 😉 How was everyone’s weekend? Good, I hope! I (Maddie) had a really lovely weekend. My partner, Hugh, and I went for a bush walk in the Royal National Park to a little place called Kangaroo Creek and it was so beautiful! I haven’t been on a bush walk in years and it was very spontaneous and relaxing. I didn’t take my phone with me because I wanted to do the walk ‘unplugged’ but Hugh did take his camera, so I will have to post some photos of the spot on the photography forum for you all later today!
Now enough about me, I know what you’re here for and it’s to crack the first riddle of the week. This one was surprisingly tough for me, but I think you lot will have cracked it in no time…
I am full of holes but I can still hold water. What am I?
Hmm what do you think it is? If you think you know the answer, post it on our forum here. If you get the answer correct, you’ll score yourself a shout-out in tomorrow’s newsletter. Good luck, folks!

I remember exactly where mine was! It was about a 400m walk from our home and as kids we used to think it was so exciting when our parents gave us the all clear to walk up to the corner shop and buy an ice cream or some lollies, but it used to be so hard to choose from all the options! From Red Frogs, to Musk Sticks, or an Icey Pole, I could never decide! Ah, those were the days. When your hardest decision was whether to buy a lolly or an ice cream!

This is something that happened at an assisted living centre.
The people who lived there have small apartments but they all eat at a central cafeteria. One morning one of the residents didn't show up for breakfast so my wife went upstairs and knocked on his door to see if everything was OK.
This one had me laughing out loud in the office, members! A big thanks to member @Skipton for sharing this with us all. You can click here to read the rest of the joke.
