Sunday Edition
Gooooooood Morning lovely Members! And a happy Sunday to you all. We hope you're all enjoying your weekend and have been able to relax and recharge. We know it can be hard to switch off sometimes, but it's so important to make time for yourself. This week's quote is all about taking some time for yourself...
"You can't pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first."
We think this is such an important message. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget to take care of yourself. But it's so important to make time for yourself, to do things that make you happy and recharge your batteries. Otherwise, you'll just end up running on empty. So make sure you take some time for yourself this week, even if it's just a little bit. You deserve it.
Now, let's take a look at some of the big stories from this week. What's been happening across Australia and around the world?
-
This week, Coles, Woolies, Aldi and IGA gave us some fantastic deals, including Old El Paso Enchilada Kits, Arnott's Tim Tam Deluxe (Yum!), and some cold and flu essentials. You can still get these deals today!
-
Aussie shoppers went nuts about Aldi’s new $10 meal, which customers claimed was better than expensive meal boxes.
-

-
Shoppers raced to their local Kmart to get their hands on the stylish new $30 cast iron pot that looks exactly like the $450 version.
-
Do you store your eggs in your fridge door? Turns out, you’re doing it all wrong, according to an expert.
-
We also learnt an easy Kmart hack to spruce up your pots using an unlikely $5 item.
-
These $16 Kmart decor items went viral after shoppers saw how they completely transformed one woman’s living room.
-
Members @Ricci, Ian R., and @Vinylted shared some cheeky but hilarious jokes. Click each member’s link for a good laugh.
-
Woolworths employees revealed that they ignore one common customer request due to an easy-to-miss detail.
-
Caramilk fans raved about this new $1.99 sweet treat from Aldi, which many people are calling the “greatest dupe yet”.
-
And finally, Aldi released a budget "all-in-one" thermal cooker, but can it compete with the more expensive Thermomix, which costs over $2,000?
And that members is a wrap of the week that was! Not a bad week, was it? Well, the good stuff doesn’t stop there because there is plenty more for you below including a ‘cool’ ‘Yesterday’s Australia’ segment, a few great deals, and a great grand(ma) joke submitted by member @Wendy! Thanks for the laugh, @Wendy!
Oh and of course don't forget we have today’s OzWord, our “Last Two Letters” game, our Sudoku puzzles, and our “A story by sentences” game for some fun brain training!
And if you haven’t already, be sure to enter our best joke competition! Just go to the competition thread and post your best joke for a chance to win a $100 voucher to Coles, Woolies, Aldi, or IGA!
Now, most importantly, members, and as always, stay safe and happy reading.

Griffiths Sweets was acquired by A. W. Allen in 1965. As a result, Kool Mints and the spin-off, Kool Fruits, were marketed under the Allen’s brand, and the Griffiths name was phased out! Who remembers eating Kool Mints?
