Project Update

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street.

With the approval of the Contractor’s proposed traffic management plan by TfNSW, works on Kelly St are about to commence.  The first block to be constructed will be the west side of Kelly St between Liverpool St and St Aubins Square.

• On the evening of Thursday 13^th April, the Contractor will implement the traffic control for the first stage of the works.  This involves closing the northbound lanes of Kelly St between Liverpool St and St Aubins and implementing a local road detour via Guernsey St.
• Following this road closure demolition and excavation works will commence in Kelly St and St Aubins Square

Ongoing early works to be continued include

• Condition Assessments of adjacent properties
• Establishment of Contractors' facilities
• Water main replacement works in St Aubins Street
