Inviting EOIs for RSA Board of Directors

The RSA is in an exciting period of dynamic growth! Through the introduction of diverse strategic initiatives, the RSA Board seeks to progress the Society’s aim of advancing the care of people with kidney disease - and to be the peak body for renal nursing and related allied health professionals. As an elected Board Director, you will be well positioned to influence outcomes and lead the association into the future. Expressions of Interest are invited for Board Directors for a period of one term (as per the constitution), commencing in December 2023 and concluding at the Annual General Meeting in 2026.

Bladder Cancer Research Review 8 

This issue discusses the limited impact of a treatment combination for metastatic urothelial cancer, an effective alternative to radical cystectomy for some bladder cancer patients, increased bladder cancer risk in petroleum workers exposed to benzene, and the pros and cons of using a reduced dose of BCG treatment. The issue also emphasizes the importance of alternative BCG strains in maintenance.

Every Nurse's Business Survey

The survey is for all Australian Registered Nurses, and focuses on nursing education, professional roles, and experiences caring for people with intellectual disability (ID) and/or autism (ASD). Findings from the survey will aim to build knowledge about nursing capacity to care for people with ID and/or ASD and improve future outcomes.
