Did You Know the Career Choices Series Aligns with Golden State Pathways Program Goals?

The Get Focused…Stay Focused!® (GFSF) program aligns with the Golden State Pathways Program by providing a student-centered approach that meets grant requirements. The A-G approved early career exploration course at the heart of GFSF enables students to earn dual credit starting in 9th grade and acquire up to 12 post-secondary credits before graduation. The program emphasizes work-based learning through internships, while integrating academic and social-emotional learning supports. Ultimately, it empowers students to create personalized 10-year career and education plans, setting them on the path to success.

Register for Two-Hour Middle School Workshop

Missed the opportunity to register for the middle school workshop today? Don’t worry! There’s another one happening November 1 from 9:30 AM–11:30 AM PST.

This overview workshop will introduce instructors and administrators to the tools and knowledge needed to successfully implement the Building a Bridge to Your Future curriculum and support middle school students in their transition into high school. Fee includes copies of the instructor’s guide and the student workbook.

River Springs Charter School Receives Third Consecutive Career Choices Medal

River Springs Charter School recently received their third consecutive Career Choices Medal for promoting student success with the Career Choices series curriculum and My10yearPlan.com.

“In a fast-paced and changing environment, our Get Focused program helps students to think critically about their lives and plan for exciting futures,” said teacher Matthew Ramey.
