Program Leadership Strategies for Principals and Administrators Using the George Washington University’s 10-Step Plan
Looking for tools to help your team successfully implement a Get Focused...Stay Focused!® (GFSF) program or Freshman Transition Initiative? Then the Program Leadership Strategies institute is just what you need to get your planning and implementation started.
Built around the 10-Step Plan developed by The George Washington University’s Freshman Transition Initiative and adapted for the Get Focused…Stay Focused!® program, this institute for principals, administrators, and their teams will delve into how to plan, implement, and sustain a Get Focused...Stay Focused!® (GFSF) program over all four years of high school for EVERY student. In addition, participants will learn how college credit is being awarded for the 9th grade, semester-long ‘Get Focused’ course and be exposed to best practice strategies and resources so their GFSF implementation can be quick and cost-efficient.
Designed to provide administrators with the tools to successfully implement a GFSF program to improve academic achievement, high school graduation, and college completion, participating administrators will leave with their own strategic plan that includes goals, activities, timelines, responsibilities, costs, funding sources, and evidence.

We are looking for teams who are committed to careful planning and intentional implementation of their Career Choices series/'Get Focused' courses.
Even if this is your first year implementing the Career Choices series curriculum, submit an application. You might be surprised by just how simple the process is.
