It’s a meaningful way to build storytelling, communication, and self-awareness skills while highlighting the real-world impact of your program.

We’d love your help bringing this to life! With the provided lesson plan, rubric, and permission forms, assigning the project is easy. Once your students have completed their videos, simply choose your top 3–5 submissions and send them our way.

But using AI with children presents a very different set of challenges.

Students still developing foundational skills in reading, writing, and critical thinking benefit most from hands-on, reflective learning. In our own programs, we've seen the power of journaling, discussion, and revision to spark growth and self-awareness. These essential habits aren’t easily replicated by technology that delivers instant answers.

As schools explore AI integration, the priority should remain on what’s best for students’ cognitive and emotional development. Innovation is valuable—but it should support, not shortcut, the learning process.
