Saturday Edition
Good morning members and happy Saturday! How good is Saturday, eh? Not just because it's the weekend and you get to have some time to yourself, but because we have an absolutely jam packed newsletter for you all! So what are we waiting for? We hope you have a nice morning cuppa in hand, as it's time to rock and(or) roll!
Now before we get too carried away, let's reveal the answer to yesterday's riddle. So what was it again?
I flop and swing around, on the floor or on some sticks, and I sometimes look as if I have no bones. I desperately need a white powder to do what needs to be done, and looking at me you might wonder why I look like I am about to go swimming. What am I?
And the answer to this one is… A gymnast! Well who would have bloody known eh?! Turns out, lots of you knew this one! So if you got that one right, then further down this newsletter, you’ll find a shoutout waiting patiently for you! Enjoy it folks!
It’s now time for one of our favourite segments of the week. That’s right folks, it’s time for ‘What Would the Grandkids Say?’
Last week, we took a look at the term Snack, a term of endearment that you might use on a significant other, to tell them they are looking positively delicious! This week however, we are going one further with the term Cake. This one is a little bit cheeky so bear with us. One would use the term cake if they thought someone had a nice bottom, and could easily be tied in with the snack phrase. Now once again, this is not something to just say to anyone, only people who you feel would be comfortable. But if you’re with your significant other, and you think they are looking great, let them know that their cake is looking like a snack! A nice little saucy compliment eh? How strange are the grandkids these days… 😂
Anyway, enough about the grandkids, because we’ve got this week’s Aldi Special Buys and my goodness, there are some winners here!
So, what’s happening in Australia and around the world today?
-
Does a raw salmon head stuffed with live maggots sound delicious to you? Well believe it or not, this and many more disgusting dishes were once delicacies.
-
One lucky Coles shopper scored $365 worth of food for only $77, including a free roast chicken thanks to one specific supermarket hack. We will be doing this ourselves!

-
Her Majesty has faced another health scare after she admits she ‘can’t move’ during an in-person meeting.
-
Bond actor ‘Daniel Craig’ tells all about his encounter with The Queen. ‘She is very funny’!
-
Well this is an interesting one... This man hates the taste of tap water and 'plastic bottled' water so much, that it's costing him thousands every month!
-
And finally, some parents are taking the task of making school lunches to the next level with edible ink markers, turning a meal into a masterpiece!
That there ladies and gentleman, is the wrap of today’s news! But don’t venture off just yet, as we have some excellent stuff ready for you to enjoy, like this joke by member @goodbloke which, while absolutely hilarious, is quite cheeky and rude so proceed carefully…
As always members, stay safe, and happy reading!

Do you recall playing or singing Ring-a-Ring-a-Rosie when you were younger? We used to have so much fun playing these games! It’s a shame we don’t seem to see many children playing these games anymore.

With more people cooking at home and changing their shopping habits because of the pandemic, plus the increased cost of groceries, the weekly shop is now costing more than ever... Which we know is very frustrating, especially on a tight budget. Well, we all need to eat, but that doesn’t mean having to clear out the wallet each week.
To help you out next time you go shopping, a Coles shopper has revealed how she got $365.35 worth of food for only $77.30. Samy, from Victoria, posted photos of her massive grocery haul on Facebook, which included $1.70 steaks, 30c salads, and other items. And that’s not all! She also claimed she was given a whole roast chicken for free! How did she manage to do that? Click the button below to find out!

Hypotension, or low blood pressure, means that the pressure of blood circulating the body is lower than normal or lower than expected. Low blood pressure is only a problem if it has a negative impact on the body and produces symptoms. Some causes of hypotension include blood loss, dehydration and certain medications, such as antihypertensive drugs.
