THE PANHANDLE MK Kiel Huff: Her Head in the Clouds at the Center for Contemporary Arts Abilene Mary K. Huff is a feminist assemblage artist who crafts layered, unapologetically political works from found materials. After graduating in 1980, she moved with husband and fellow artist Anthony Huff to New York City, before eventually settling with her family in Potosi, TX. Now on view! THE VALLEY Between What I Fear and What I Hope at Rockport Center for the Arts Shawn Camp makes paintings, videos, light and sound pieces that explore the boundary between the physical and the transcendent. The artist's recent acrylic paintings suggest air and space, imagery devoid of solid forms. That nothingness is framed through subtle geometric divisions and contradictory hints of color.
