Dear ECF Family and Supporters,
As Chairwoman of ECF, it is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the annual M.E.N.U.S. (Mentoring & Educating Nevada’s Upcoming Students) event on the 15th of October at the new Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. As Las Vegas begins to open its doors and welcome back guests, we are proud to come together as a community and raise a glass with you in supporting the next generation of hospitality leaders at M.E.N.U.S. 2021.
This memorable evening will showcase the creations of over 50 of Las Vegas’ finest restaurants and beverage distributors in Las Vegas at an exclusive dine around. Stay tuned for further details on theme, honoree, and entertainment!
ECF students range in ethnicity, gender and backgrounds but share one thing in common: they are brilliant, but do not have the means to pursue a higher education. Some students in the program have come from the direst of circumstances: from having no home to supporting their little brothers and sisters while working full time and attending high school. Still, they rise to excellence. We attribute this success due to increased emphasis on our organization’s academic assistance program, top-notch mentoring from our prestigious board, and collaborations with UNLV.
ECF believes that local and deserving students should have the means to pursue their dreams and become future leaders of the Las Vegas hospitality industry. ECF students are developed to succeed in their future employment with comprehensive work force development programs that provide university scholarships (tuition and books), unique one-on-one mentoring, networking opportunities, leadership guidance, and etiquette development.
ECF’s signature dine-around event, which generates most of the organization’s funding, means so much to the students. Once again, thank you for your continued support.
