Community collaboration on show at Lions Park

Unity Housing, the Millicent Lions Club and Wattle Range Council were proud to come together this month to celebrate recent upgrades at Lions Park, including the official unveiling of new accessible public toilet facilities.

These improvements build on the much‑loved playground, community veggie garden, fruit trees and sporting goal posts. Locals came along to enjoy the celebration, with children from Gladys Smith Early Learning Centre joining the ribbon cutting and a sausage sizzle kindly cooked by the Millicent Lions Club.

Lions Park continues to be a great example of what can be achieved when passionate local groups work together for the Millicent community
