Dear ILDS Members, friends and colleagues, ILDS has had a busy start in 2025, including a successful CME symposium at the Regional Dermatology Training Centre in Moshi. I am confident that 2025 will be full of positivity as we collectively continue our efforts to improve global skin health. The ILDS has an ambitious agenda for 2025, featuring visits to numerous regional events, a site visit to Guadalajara, Mexico, for the WCD2027 to observe the significant advancements made by the WCD Organising Committee, as well as a variety of new and updated initiatives aimed at education, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within our community. We look forward to welcoming ILDS Members to Cape Town from 24th – 25th October for the 4th ILDS World Skin Summit. This event provides a platform for input from leaders of our Member Societies on the challenges and opportunities encountered by ILDS Members, enabling us to ensure that those topics are prioritised in the ILDS Strategy. I hope to meet as many of you as possible at events throughout the year and learn more about the remarkable initiatives you are pursuing in your respective regions.
