Thursday Edition
Good morning, members, and a very happy Thursday to you all! It’s me again (Vella) coming to you with another exciting edition of our newsletter. Before we get into it, though, I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to my partner and rock, CJ! We just celebrated our 5th anniversary, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this woman. I know that for some, your partner might be sitting here right now enjoying a cuppa with you, but for others their beloved may no longer be with us. Regardless, if you would like to give a shout-out to your loved ones or reminisce on how you met, I would love for you to join me in doing so here. I know the month of love is over, but why wait for February for love stories, right?
Now, let’s get back to why we're here — the newsletter! First things first, it’s time to give you all the answer to yesterday’s tricky riddle. For those of you who don't remember, the riddle goes:
There are 2 police officers parked along a one-way street looking for traffic violations. They spot a taxi driver going in the wrong direction, yet they do nothing. Why?
Did you get it? The answer is that the taxi driver wasn’t driving then; he was walking! Oh, that was a good one, wasn't it? As expected, many of you got the answer correct, and you know what that means, right? You get a shout-out! So stick around, and you’ll find a shout-out waiting for you at the end of the newsletter.
Next on the agenda for today, it’s time to share with you a Fascinating Fact!
When you say pyramids, most people immediately think of Egypt. But did you know that there's one country with more pyramids than Egypt? That country is… Sudan! Yes, that’s right. Not only does Sudan have more pyramids than Egypt, but the numbers aren’t even close. While there are 138 pyramids discovered in Egypt, Sudan boasts around 255! Mind-boggling, isn't it?
Now then, what’s happening in Australia and around the world in the news today?

Two young boys are going to the hospital the next day for operations.
Theirs will be first on the schedule.
The older boy leans over and asks, ‘What are you having done?’
The second boy says, ‘I’m getting my tonsils out, and I’m afraid.’
I love how kids make light of a potentially scary situation. Make sure you read this until the hilarious twist at the end for a good laugh. Thank you, member @Luckyus for sharing this one.
