At 98 years young, she is one of our longest serving tutor - an amazing 30 years of teaching Watercolour at Balwyn CC!! Pat started at the centre in 1994 after her son encouraged her to take over the art class he was teaching. Even after all these years, Pat loves the challenge of working with water - and the end of term parties she has with her class! And what's next for Pat? She wants to take her watercolouring outside - so watch out for her and the Thursday morning social watercolouring group in the gardens sometime soon! ![]() Life DrawingWant to learn to draw the human form with confidence? Our Life Drawing class is the perfect place to start! Starting with simple circles and lines, you will learn scale and proportion. Then develop your drawing skills to create simple postures and include the use of texture, light, and shade to bring your drawings to life! All produce welcome including herbs, eggs, fruit, vegetables, honey, seedlings, flowers, compost or manure. Books and magazines and other items are also welcome to be swapped. The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the financial administration of the organisation, reviewing relevant procedures as required, maintaining a watching brief on the monthly reports (prepared by the bookkeeper) and reporting to the Board at the monthly meeting. |
