Our industry has been fortunate to have several leaders and visionaries who unquestionably molded our industry into the success we all enjoy. Richard is no doubt one of them, whose contribution has been from a selfless base, and whose industry wide prosperity has been at the forefront of his work. I am looking forward to the upcoming E1 series. Using a combination of electric power and hydrofoiling, this is no doubt going to be something spectacular to witness. Last week we bought you the news of Rafael Nadal joining as a team owner, this week we bring you the news that McLaren will be supporting the series with telemetry and data viewing software. This week, amongst the news of more R&D work, business expansions and moves, we also bring you the extraordinary story of Lazzarini’s Plectrum. After many rough days, Michelle seems to me back on track where the wind, wave and currents had been pushing her in the wrong direction west bound. She is now in much better conditions, out of her cabin confinement, and headed in the right direction. Michelle is around 1600 km west of Cairns, and north of Vanuatu having recently passed its northern most island called Hiu.
