The meetup will be held at the Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA) located at 37 Dollyup Street, Stake Hill. The event starts at 3:30pm with a tour of the FIPWA facilities. Facilitated by Export Connect, the program attracted 31 enthusiastic participants from businesses looking to elevate their Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products and enter markets across Australia. The program is designed to equip businesses with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the domestic market for FMCG goods. The program consists of three content modules delivered in a workshop format, along with one-on-one mentoring sessions to provide tailored guidance and support. This national awards program recognises the outstanding contribution our exporters make to Australia's economic prosperity. Last year's 86 national finalists generated over $12 billion in export earnings and employed more than 22,500 Australians. The awards program shines a light on export success stories from every state and territory, and shows the world the depth, diversity, and capability of Australian businesses. This year's awards will again showcase Australian excellence in 13 categories. The 2024 Australian Exporter of the Year will be selected from the national category winners. Applications close 14 June 2024. State and territory winners will be announced at ceremonies from August to October, with national winners announced at the Australian Export Awards ceremony at Parliament House in Canberra on 20 November 2024. Source and Image: Austrade The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations has unveiled details for the World Food Forum (WFF) 2024, themed 'Good food for all, for today and tomorrow'. Held throughout 2024, WFF activities culminate in a flagship event from 14 to 18 October 2024. The WFF will also spotlight the UN Decade of Family Farming, recognising its role in building strong agrifood systems. The event coincides with World Food Day on 16 October 16, themed 'Right to Foods', emphasising access to diverse, nutritious, affordable, and safe food for all. "All events will be integrated, creating a dynamic platform for transforming agrifood systems," said Máximo Torero, FAO Chief Economist. "We aim to leverage collaboration, partnerships, and creativity across various sectors."
