As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street.

September Progress Summary

In September, we reached a major milestone with the completion of the wearing course asphalt. Thank you to everyone for your patience during the disruptions. We’ve also begun work on Stage 2, bringing us one step closer to a vibrant and accessible CBD for all.

Block 1 and 2 (Kingdon to St Aubins Street)

• Crack sealing

• Pavement milling

• Placement of wearing course asphalt and geotextile

• Final line marking

Block 3 Corner (St Aubins to Susan Streets)

• Site Establishment & implementation of detour
• Removal of median island
• Base course infill median island
• construction of traverse drainage

• Demolition for wombat crossing

• Transport for NSW pavement rectification works

Works Planned for October

St Aubins Town Square

• Complete finishing and defect works

Blocks 1 and 2

• Final line marking 

• Installation of CCTV

• Finishing and sealing works

Block 3 (St Aubins to Susan Streets) - Stage 2 Works

• Construction of refuge mid-block islands

• Stormwater pit construction

• Water main replacement and cut over

• Telstra adjustments

• Ausgrid electrical works 

• Construction of new kerb transition and base course replacement 

• Private lighting
