While Australians are resilient, this is one event that will understandably take time to heal. In late-breaking industry news, the ACCC has opposed Yamaha’s proposed acquisition of Telwater. What this decision ultimately means for the future of the brands involved is yet to be determined. However, Telwater General Manager Sam Heyes has moved to reassure dealers, advising that, “We will continue to operate the business as usual, with no change to our current production and day to day operations.” For now, it is very much business as usual while the broader implications continue to unfold.
