We have the opportunity during the month to raise awareness about the ongoing issues of child abuse and neglect with a public platform. Child abuse is 100% preventable! We must unabashedly proclaim the need to stand united in our families, communities, counties, and across our state, with the goal of positively impacting the issue of child abuse by working together. This is one issue around which all Hoosiers can unify and be champions for children. New PSA Released from Prevent Child Abuse America![]() On March 19th, 2025, Prevent Child Abuse America released a Press Release / PSA video entitled, “Not a Bad Parent Problem.” It is a powerful message that identifies the systemic barriers which underlie the issue of child abuse. It also raises questions about cultural humility as it relates to therapy and care. Nina has joined PCAIN in the role of Program Assistant and brings a fresh perspective and energy to our team, which has us all excited. Nina was born and raised in Indiana and is a recent graduate from Xavier University in Cincinnati. After graduation, she attended the Columbia Publishing Course at Oxford University, where she learned about book publishing and production. She has launched her career in the marketing and public relations industries with an emphasis on writing and social media management and is super excited to be working with PCAIN. When she is not at work, you can usually find her with a coffee at a bookstore, reading some good fiction. |
