NEWS UPDATE27 May 2022 Publishers noteIf you are thinking that all the news is coming from the Gold Coast at the moment, well you are probably right. I am fortunate to have just returned from a trilogy of events that I can only say our industry should be proud of. Those responsible for the planning and delivery of these conferences and show need to be congratulated. Last week kicked off with ASMEX2022, a fascinating and very rewarding conference organised by David Good and his team from AIMEX. Johan Hasser and his team at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, despite the deluge, have reported over 43,000 visitors, and Marinas22 planned and delivered by Suzanne Davies and her team gave us two days full of gems that will take some time to digest. Needless to say, I have a book full of ideas and notes that I hope will translate to stories that I can deliver in the coming weeks and months. Best of all, was the ability to again connect with industry face to face after a substantial period away. I pass on my thanks and gratitude to all those who's positive and encouraging comments only bodes well for the future of Marine Business News.
