As we wrap up 2025, we are reflecting on an inspiring year shaped by the people across our community, including you. Together, we have helped even more young people discover Electronics, supported students and seen more Scholars transition into industry. This year also marked the 15th anniversary of UKESF, and we are excited to build on that momentum in 2026 by strengthening our programmes, expanding school initiatives and creating even more opportunities to inspire future Electronics Engineers. Looking ahead, I am excited for what more we do together, as we inspire and support even more future Electronics engineers in 2026.” Latest News UKESF Award for Inspirational Electronics Educators Our Award for Inspirational Electronics Educators, sponsored by Synopsys, recognised Neil Wright and three outstanding runners-up, whose creativity and commitment are inspiring more young people to explore Electronics. Read more Our new UKESF Skills Charter recognises 33 leading employers for their commitment to equipping the next generation of engineers with technical and non-technical skills needed by our industry. Read more Over 300 aspiring Electronics engineers received bursaries, mentoring and skills development through the new Semiconductor Talent Award, widening participation in the semiconductor sector. Read more UKESF Scholar of the Year 2025 We celebrated Samuel Kennedy as Scholar of the Year 2025, with Jadesola Adelekan and Zachary Danzig as runners-up, reflecting the talent and passion of our Scholar community. Read more Semiconductor Skills in Schools Through the Semiconductor: Skills, Talent and Education Programme (STEP), we are giving pupils hands-on ways to learn Electronics and supporting teachers across the UK. Read more This year you helped us reach 186 schools, inspire 506 girls through Girls into Electronics and award 73 Scholarships.
