Project Update

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street. 

With the new electrical infrastructure completed in Block 2, we are working with Ausgrid to schedule an outage date (currently Sunday 29 October) to cut over to the new infrastructure. Once the cutover is complete we will be able to commence with construction of the new concrete footpaths.

Pedestrian management will be changing in Block 1 (Kingdon to Liverpool Street).  The Contractor requires access to the footpath adjacent to the shops for the installation of the upgraded electrical network and modifications to Telecommunications infrastructure.  This will involve varying the route pedestrians take but access to businesses will be maintained throughout

St Aubins Town Square is just a few finishing touches away but you will be able to walk through and get a feel for the space early next week. It will give you an idea of the feel and finishes to expect as more of the works are completed.

• Completion of trellis structure

• Completion of Ausgrid conduit install in preparation for Ausgrid outage
• Completion of Telecommunication pit upgrade
• Continued construction of landscape walls
• Completion of streetlight conduit install and footings
• Completion of planter box drainage in centre medians

Block 1 - West

• Completion of base course replacement 
• Completion of planter box drainage in centre medians
• Commencement of Ausgrid conduit install works
• Commencement of pram ramps at Liverpool Street intersection
