ISSUE NO. 26 • NOVEMBER 21ST, 2022 • JACK FELICE ![]() In Spring With Carnations JACK FELICE Jack Felice is an art historian and creative writer whose works are full of serendipitous surprises. Constructed geometric squares are built using comic book pages that obscure the focal points of portrait photographs. In an inventive and tedious process, Felice creates collages within collages; a single piece can contain 3 or 4 compositions. Typography can be seen torn and reconfigured anew, disregarding meaning but embracing linguistic form. Felice says of his practice, “The pieces are intended to allow the audience enough space to create individual (and at times parallel) narratives.” ![]() Highway Signs At Night ![]() When No One Is Looking (Part I) My work is everchanging but always seems to focus on identity and exploration.
