Sunday Edition
G’day and happy Sunday, dear members! I (Jarred) hope you’re all mighty fine on this beautiful weekend morning. Thankfully, the body pain I have been whining about all week has mostly subsided. Needless to say, I am glad it has all passed!
Anyway, it’s the last Sunday before Easter, and I’ve heard many people making plans for the long weekend, which range from visiting family or even going camping. On our end, nothing’s final yet, as we’re still figuring some things out. That being said, I’m so excited to know what you’re doing next week. What do you have planned for Easter Sunday? Whether it’s something meticulously organised or just an easy weekend of rest and relaxation at home, we’d be delighted to know. Why not throw in traditions your family does on Easter for an added kick of fun as well? It’s simply touching to know of the special things families do during the holidays, and we’re all ears (or eyes?) to see what you have in store for the holidays.
Speaking of family and special things, here’s this week’s Sunday quote, as given by member @nanazorak:
‘You are the one constant in your life, love yourself first, and that love will flow onto others!’
Isn’t that lovely? Oftentimes we focus too much on what we have to give to others that we forget we also have to give to ourselves too. Remember the saying, ‘You can’t pour from an empty cup’? I believe member @nanazorak’s quote fits in quite well with that one — when the time comes that you’ve simply run out of love and compassion to give in a world that can be so empty of these things, there’s no harm in taking a step back and choosing yourself first. Only when you can confidently say ‘I’m ready’ can you ever really get back on your feet and be a shining light to your loved ones. The Easter holiday is a perfect time to recharge, if you need to, so consider doing it. It might do wonders for your body and your mind.
Just before we head to the daily menu of stories we have for you, we'd also love for you to play our newest game, SDC Bingo! For a great experience playing, we highly
recommend reading Jonathan's instructions first. Remember that you need an account at the forum to join, so if you don't have one already, register here! Today's numbers are...
