Former Principal from Successful GFSF Program to Speak at Santa Barbara Institutes
With a graduation rate of only 69 percent at Indio High School, Principal Rudy Ramirez knew something had to change. Within seven years of starting a freshman transition program, Indio High School’s graduation rate rose to 92 percent.
“Change is a process; it’s not an event,” Ramirez said at a previous training. “I would rather it be an event because it’s easier, but I learned it is a process. It’s incremental.”
