Hey, hey, it’s Saturday! Gosh, is there anything better than waking up on a Saturday morning? I, Vella, don’t think so! Do you have any exciting plans today? As much as I would love to conquer this weekend, my cosy bed is urging me not to leave, especially now that it’s colder than ever. So, I’ll be enjoying blissful moments of slumber, getting lost in a captivating book, and savouring bowls of soup. But enough chit-chat! Let’s reveal the answer to yesterday’s riddle:
Three men are sitting in a small motorboat one kilometre from the shoreline. The first is afraid of water, the second is scared of drowning, and the third is afraid of sharks. The boat’s motor is broken, and there is nothing to row with. How do they get to the shoreline?
And the answer is... get out and walk because the boat is not in the water; it's one kilometre from the shoreline! We hope you all had fun solving this one. If you got the answer correct, you’ll find a shout-out further down in this newsletter.
Now, let’s move on to our next segment! Today in ‘What Would the Grandkids Say’, we are taking a look at the term 'BBG'. BBG is an acronym for baby girl and is often used by kids today as a term of endearment or to refer to a close female friend or romantic partner. So, if you hear your grandkids using this term, you'll know they're referring to someone they care about dearly!
