Our programAP4D is part of a consortium that was recently awarded a DFAT Regional Maritime Exchange grant along with La Trobe Asia, Griffith Asia Institute, UWA Defence Security Institute and UNSW Canberra Maritime Security Research Group. The project focuses on maritime security in the Indo-Pacific, with a particular focus on building and strengthening linkages with Southeast Asia. An AP4D Dialogue will be held in August with development, diplomacy and defence experts from Australia and Southeast Asia to identify key issues and triage priority areas in the regional maritime domain.
