New wheat varieties introduced

Newly classified varieties of wheat are now listed on the 2024-25 Wheat Variety Master List, which names all current varieties approved by Grains Australia’s wheat classification process.

Varieties classified as milling oat

Grains Australia’s new Oat Varietal Classification Technical Committee has this year classified the oat varieties Koala, Goldie and Minnie as milling oat.

The committee is classifying varieties using the new National Oat Variety Classification Framework.
