Saturday Edition
Hello and welcome to another Saturday, ladies and gentlemen! We have a ton of stories waiting for you lot to dive right into, so get yourself comfortable, maybe alongside a nice pot of tea and a couple of cheeky bikkies 😉
To start things off, let’s lift the lid on the answer to yesterday’s riddle! Let’s remind ourselves of it, shall we?
I drive men mad
For love of me,
Easily beaten,
Never free.
Did you get it? The answer to this one is, of course, gold! Oh, this was without a doubt one of our favourite riddles, because it really had us stumped. Once again, we would like to thank member Rene for sending us this one. If you managed to get the answer correct, head further down in the email, and you’ll spot a shoutout just for you!
Now onto our next segment for the day, ‘What Would the Grandkids Say.’ Today, we are taking a look at the term ‘WYA.’ WYA is an acronym for 'Where you at?' used by the kids today to ask where someone is. Use this one next time your grandkids break curfew: "Hey WYA, get home now!" Or when you want to take them out to eat: 'WYA, we're going to get some ice cream!' You’ll have to let us know how they react.
Now then, what’s happening in Australia and across the world today?
