NEWS UPDATE

Publishers note

Today is day two of the 61st Melbourne Boat Show, located in the heart of the city at Docklands. While it's the last major boat show for the year, it's not one to be omitted from your diaries. The event remains in the hands of a dedicated team from BIA Victoria, who, like many other shows around the world, returned post-pandemic with a firm vision to bring the event back to its former glory.

By all accounts, the industry equally respects the quality and importance of the event, with many industry players ensuring they are part of the show. Best wishes to the organisers, exhibitors, and everyone associated with the event.

I am a softy for good news, and this week, I loved the story about a new Marine Rescue NSW vessel for the Port Stephens community that was officially commissioned as Port Stephens 30 in the Marine Rescue NSW fleet. The new vessel was named the Shirley Clark in honor of the 92-year-old Port Stephens unit member.
