What's on at Petersham Bowling Club this month.. No images? Click here June newsCan it really be June? Big news this month is that the roof replacement is finished! Big shout out to the Green Frog Roofing team, they've done a great job. If you haven't already, drop by the club and have a look. With the leaks inside the club now all gone a reminder not to be dissuaded from stopping by even with all this rain. It can be lovely and cosy in the club, unwinding with a mulled wine and a bite from the Fiddle Leaf Bistro. And though the days may be getting colder a reminder that there are heaters under the patio as well as 3 portable gas heaters outside. Our first Dark Beer & Fire Night was last week and a great time was had by all. Be sure to pencil in June 28 for round #2. Last but not least congratulations to our President George Catsi, named by Inner West Council as the 2024 Inner West Citizen of the year. Onya George, very well deserved.
Accessibility FundraiserSupport the PBC has never been easier and your donation, big or small, will help fund the accessibility upgrade our club needs. Run by the community for the community, our club thrives on creativity, sustainability, and participation. We are a fun and welcoming, staunchly pokie-free space where people can meet and connect. However, to make our club truly inclusive, we need to build a ramp and upgrade our access. We are ready to start this project, see the plans here for our most significant upgrade since the late 1970s. As a pokie-free venue, we rely on your support to raise the necessary funds. To talk more about our fundraising plans and your support please email Nina, fundraising@thepbc.org.au Dark Beer and Fire Night #2Dark Beer & Fire Night #2 is happening on Friday the 28th of June from 5pm.
