Hi , I thought I'd let you know about a service I wish I'd known about when I was a principal.
I’ve really enjoyed working with our friends at St Albans East PS who have recently activated their schoolED Safe subscription. The first job on the list was to create a policy portal that ensures the school’s policies are maintained with a new and systematic approach to their development, review and update.
After a few visits to understand the school’s needs and to assess where they were up to on their risk and compliance journey, I had a clear picture of their requirements. I worked closely with the Principal and HSR who saw the advantage of keeping all of their OHS evidence in a bespoke OHS portal, ensuring that they were audit ready and that all activities were ticked off on the annual OHS calendar of activities. They were excited to hear how streamlining the information so that it can be shared with staff, deepens their understanding of their OHS obligations.
After a great audit and an excellent score with minimal non-conformances, I’m really looking forward to visiting them again soon to ensure that they maintain their audit-readiness.

Annual schoolED Safe subscription
During our twice termly visits, we will work with you to complete all activities on the OHS calendar and keep you up to date throughout year. Your allocated schoolED OHS Consultant will keep in regular touch and design a unique portal that stores all of your school’s documentation, policies, checklists, reports and inspections maximising your audit score when that time comes. We are experts in building the capacity of HSRs, OHS committees and working groups and love working with teams to raise the profile of OHS. If you have been scheduled for an audit, our portal and consultancy will provide pre- and post audit support ensuring you are always audit ready at any time of the year.
