Issue 25 - September 2024

Healthier Times Newsletter

Welcome to the 25th edition of Healthier Times, the Public Health e-newsletter!

We’ve got another great edition of Healthier Times for you this Summer! As usual it’s jammed full of information on all things health, wellbeing and self-care. We’ve got our usual updates on ‘a better u’, the Cost of Living Crisis, Social Determinants of Health and Age Friendly Communities.  Some of the other things we’re talking about in this edition are food sustainability, our brand-new breastfeeding friendly scheme and local area coordination.

We’ll also be introducing you to the Restart Team – our integrated domestic abuse service.

Finally, you’ll find news about campaigns, public health initiatives, research and training opportunities, all designed to help you take the best care of your health and wellbeing.

Please share this newsletter with any colleagues, friends, family members or networks who would be interested in the content. Follow the link at the bottom of this email to subscribe to make sure you don't miss Issue 26 – out in December 2024!
