One of the links we included in our previous email was faulty, so we have corrected it. Visit the correct ESG and SDG Guidance for Associations, or read it in context below. This is a game-changer for global sustainability! I am pleased to share a new tool with you designed to fast-track sustainability worldwide. I collaborated with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) to publish a guide and rating system to help industry and professional associations create a sustainability roadmap for their members. With this tool they can mobilize sectors and professionals around the world to hasten their transition to a low-carbon, equitable, circular, purpose-driven and regenerative future. I believe associations are essential players to catalyze this shift. And now we have a tool to help them make the shift happen. You can view the guide and download the rating system on page 36 for free at this link: ESG and SDG Guidance for Associations. The rating includes 19 performance areas and 83 tasks from basic practices like “consult your members on ESG” to more transformational practices like “suppport your sector or profession to have a social purpose as the reason it exists”. Associations can use this document as a road map to foster ESG/SDG leadership and become or advance themselves as ESG/SDG associations. It provides step-by-step ideas for starting or advancing an ESG/SDG program and is a resource for associations to learn about the range of ESG/SDG practices they can pursue. Here’s a popular article that puts it all together to share and amplify: Your association roadmap to a sustainable future. Do you know any associations, whether industry, trade or professional? If so, please pass this tool on to them so we can accelerate the necessary transition ahead. There is no time to lose. Strandberg Consulting Inc. developed in whole or in part these ESG/SDG Works found at CSA SPE 116 but transferred its rights to copyright to CSA. It has CSA’s permission to use these Works, including with modifications, however, is solely responsible for this use. |
