Alumni Association Working Group Reliving memories, recapturing youth, rekindling 'old' friendships, networking, mentoring or helping our current students achieve great things - some of the many reasons to be part of the La Salle College Alumni Association Working Group. We need your ideas and suggestions to help map out what our Alumni Association should look like. Regardless of how much time passes, we want our Alumni to remain connected to our College Community; help us to create a vibrant, active Alumni and be part of our working group. Joshua Van Ross (Ensemble), Ben Gath (Jesus), Dom Pisconeri (Ensemble), Steven Nicholas (Pilate), Lucas Bullen (not pictured), Alex Mugford (not pictured) and Joel Poletti (not pictured) First performed at La Salle in 2004 it was always the plan to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the shows original production at the College. However, with the disruptions that COVID caused, the College decided to present Jesus Christ Superstar on its nineteenth anniversary. Inspired by the 2013 arena spectacular this production was updated in terms of design and staging but the amazing songs we know, and love were still the same. With 53 cast members for 2023, including a 13-piece orchestra, our talented and courageous cast of 2023 put on a spectacular show - bet it seemed like only yesterday for some of our Alumni! What a special experience for our Alumni and current Lasallians to share. Class of 19731973 was the first year of co-education at La Salle. Can you believe it has been 50 Years? Do you remember... Alumni Achievements Blake Williams - Class of 2001 Credit Business News WA "To be recognised alongside an incredible group of young business leaders, is truly humbling" - Blake Williams Blake Williams founder and director of Williams Creative Co has been recognised as one of the recipients of the prestigious 40 Under 40 awards in Western Australia. The annual awards celebrate the achievements of exceptional young leaders who have made significant contributions to their respective industries and communities. Blake has built a reputation as a trusted and respected leader in the entertainment business. Currently, Blake is hosting the highly anticipated 2023 season of live concerts in Kings Park for Mellen Events, where he has the privilege of working alongside esteemed musicians such as Sting, Jack Johnson, Jackson Browne, and George Ezra. Congratulations Blake! Alumni Sporting Success Lewis Collins - Class of 2021 Playing in the Perth League Integrated Competition for Swan Districts Football Club, Lewis is definitely 'kicking goals'. ONSITE Work Placements We are always looking for businesses to support our ONSITE Work Placement program for Year 10 - 12 students. As part of our ONSITE and Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, students can build their knowledge and experience while gaining valuable insight into industry. Our partnerships with TAFEs, local businesses and other providers ensure our students can further their learning in a workplace setting and achieve accreditations, opening doors to higher learning and career opportunities.
