Values of First Nations Australians and Pacific connections

On Tuesday 4 July AP4D hosted a NAIDOC Week panel discussion with Australia's Ambassador for First Nations People Justin Mohamed on the contribution and cultural knowledge that First Nations people bring to foreign policy discussions and international engagements. AP4D is grateful to Ambassador Mohamed, Salā Dr George Carter, Lieutenant Colonel Eileen Hall and Jane Bastin-Sikimeti for sharing their insights. Watch a recording of the event below.

Our program

On Monday 19 June AP4D hosted a webinar to launch the options paper What does it look like for Australia to enhance coordination with France in the Indo-Pacific. Expert contributors Natalie Sambhi, Anna Gibert and Kate O’Shaughnessy shared their insights in a fascinating panel discussion, followed by a response to the paper from Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Friends of France Zoe McKenzie MP.
