OSHA NATIONAL SAFETY STAND-DOWN WEEK

In conjunction with OSHA's National Safety Stand-Down Week, which takes place May 6 – 10, ASA-HC is asking all members to plan or participate in a safety stand-down that week. Last year more than 7,000 ASA-HC member company employees took part in the event, and this year our Safety Committee's goal is 12,000 individuals!

What is a safety stand-down? It’s a voluntary event that encourages employers to talk directly with employees about fall hazards, and to reinforce the importance of fall prevention. OSHA's National Fall Prevention Stand-Down aims to raise awareness of preventing fall hazards in construction.
