April is Alcohol Awareness Month

PDFNJ encourages our drug-free workplace members to take part in Alcohol Awareness Month. According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, close to 30 million Americans have some type of problem related to alcohol use, many of them in the workforce. More than 140,000 people die each year due to alcohol-related causes. Providing education makes good business sense and could help to prevent an employee from developing an alcohol use disorder.
