As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the Scone CBD Revitalisation Project, we would like to share an update on the works happening in and around St Aubins Square and Kelly Street. 

May Progress Summary

St Aubins Town Square

• Footpath construction (ongoing)

• Preparation for final concrete bays

• Installation of Scone Horse of the Year plaques

Block 1 (Kingdon to Liverpool Streets) – West & Medians

• Street furniture installation (containment fence)

Block 1 (Kingdon to Liverpool Streets) – East

• Commencement of PVC stormwater lines
• Installation and commissioning of Ausgrid upgrade works
• Installation of private electrical works

• Adjustment of Telstra assets

• Base course infill

• Stormwater pit construction

• Commencement of landscape wall

Block 2 (Liverpool to St Aubins Streets) – West & Medians

• Street furniture installation (containment fence)

Block 2 (Liverpool to St Aubins Streets) – East

• Construction of kerb and gutter 95%
• Continuation of footpath works (approx. 60% complete)
•  Installation of kerb side lighting adjacent to Liverpool St Intersection
• Landscaping preparation
• Installation of water meters and boxes
• Installation of paver banding and Equine Walk of Fame plaques
•  Storm water pit construction

Liverpool St Drainage

• Implementation of Liverpool St closure

• Installation of box culvert bases and crown units

• Commencement of storm water drainage pits

• Completion of remaining concrete panels

Block 1 (Kingdon to Liverpool Streets) – West & Medians

• Street furniture installation (bubblers and containment fence)
• Finishing and defect works

Block 1 (Kingdon to Liverpool Streets) – East

• Completion of kerb and gutter

• Completion of PVC storm water connections

• Installation of kerb side street lighting adjacent to Liverpool St intersection

• Commencement of footpath construction

• Traffic control signal posts upgrade

Block 2 (Liverpool to St Aubins Streets) – West & Medians

• Street furniture installation (bubblers and containment fence) Finishing and defect works

Block 2 (Liverpool to St Aubins Streets) – East

• Continuation of footpath

• TfNSW pavement rectification works

• Continued installation of paver banding and Equine Walk of Fame plaques 

• Landscaping

• Traffic control signal posts upgrade

• Commence demo and landscape wall outside Royal Hotel

Liverpool St Drainage

• Backfill of culverts

• Construction of storm water pits

• Base course replacement

• Reopen Liverpool St to traffic
