State Senate President Nick Scutari introduced a bill last week that would potentially help the vice chair of New Jersey’s State Democratic Committee to stay within the cannabis industry as the party’s chair continues to function as a lobbyist on behalf of well-financed companies. Musk’s board members and executives are allegedly worried his drug use could harm his various companies. We acknowledge the many individuals who have faced a substance use disorder, those who may still be struggling, people who started the process of recovery this year, and those in long-term recovery. The state’s recreational cannabis market opened in April 2022. Now, at least 79 dispensaries serve recreational customers in 18 counties.
